People let me tell you about my best friend...

...he's a warm hearted person who'll love you 'til the end....Our real baby and our fur baby. This was taken this afternoon after Archer went to the doctor's office. Archer's been having sleep issues the past two nights. We couldn't figure it out, he would wake up out of a deep sleep screaming and then would finally fall back asleep, but would whimper like he was having a bad dream. This was very unusual for him, he's never acted like this before and has been fairly easy to comfort back to sleep in the past.

So Bill took him to the doctor today just to make sure that he didn't have an ear infection or something more serious. Seems like this may either be related to molars coming in, but the doctor couldn't see any molars, and it is early for molars. Those are usually the last teeth to come in. The other option is that Archer may be having "night terrors". It is also early for night terrors, but it seems like this may be the most likely cause. It seems that Archer may be starting to dream, which may cause "night terrors". If that's the cause, it should end within a few weeks. Anyone have any experience with this?

On a positive note, the doctor checked out Archer and he is perfectly healthy. She watched him play and noted that he appeared to be advancing very well in his development and thought him to be a very inquisitive and curious baby.

Archer will be back at the doctor's office next Friday for his 9 month check up! 9 months old next week! Geez, the days are long but, man! time sure does fly by!

  1. Oh, Archer, I hope you feel better soon. These are all signs that you are growing up fast! Tyler looks forward to taking example from his very mature big brother! ;)
