Updates

Now that I am back to work(part-time, thank goodness!) I get updates during the day. Most of them consist of "He sucked down 3 oz.", "He had a big poop" and "He's taking a nap." And these are the pictures I get...At least he isn't missing me!

17.5 week ultrasound

Looking like a real baby! Caroline thinks that he looks like either a baby orangutan or an alien. Caroline's dad thinks he looks like the skull from Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull! ;) Some notable occurrences during this ultrasound: *Baby was moving A LOT! Kicking up a storm during the ultrasound. He has mom and dad's muscular legs! *Baby was drinking amniotic fluid and stuck out his tongue. *Baby is big. Length is at 18.5 weeks; weight is at 20.5 weeks. So the doctor's moved up the due date to Sept. 26th, but we'll still officially say his due date is Oct. 1st. *Baby appeared to squint or crinkle his face. *Baby is low. His head was up against the cervix.
