Looks like that fever over the weekend was actually a little something more. Archer has the chicken pox, as a result of receiving the chicken pox vaccine over a week ago. This is a bit surprising, since he has never had any reaction to his vaccines in the past, not even a fever. And apparently it's pretty rare, 1 in 200 kids break out in a mild case of the chicken pox as a result of the vaccine, and it looks like Archer won that lottery. Our normally easy going baby is now cranky, fussy and more tried. But he's still got his appetite! We were planning on going to the pumpkin patch this weekend, but I think we'll lay low and let Archer chill, like he is with his grandfather in the above picture.
Dad is French/English/German/Welsh, mom is Korean-American and this is a little blog about our all hapa babies!

Big boy stroller and 4 month doctor's appointment
Archer had his 4 month wellness appointment yesterday. He weighed in at 19.5 pounds and 26.5 inches, off the charts in weight and in the 95 percentile in height.
The pediatrician also said that Archer was "exceptionally strong" (the kid can already stand up and bear all his weight on his legs). Archer also got his next round of vaccines. Cried for maybe 15 seconds and then was all smiles again.
Below is a picture of Archer in his first big boy stroller! We tried it out today while grocery shopping with him and he seemed to enjoy the new view!
