Our Day at Muir Woods

We spent some time up at Muir Woods. Bill and I hadn't been there since we were both kids, so we thought it was a good time for a visit. It was a lot of fun and we ended up walking 4 miles that day! Archer too! He especially enjoyed the little bridges they have there, the rocks and looking at the maps. We met a park ranger and also had a close encounter with a banana slug. Although Archer refused to kiss it.

It's a calming, beautiful place to spend a few hours. But come early and bring your warm jackets! It gets cold under those huge redwoods!
