What he said...

As we've watched Archer grow, we've anticipated the days when Archer would be able to talk to us and couldn't wait to hear what sorts of things he would have to say. Well, we've come upon that stage now and we've been taking note of the interesting and funny things that Archer's been saying the past few months. He's become a very communicative and expressive 2 year old. Often times saying things beyond his two years. Here are a few of the interesting things he's been saying...
  • Archer is in preschool now and likes to corrects us every time we misspeak. When I pick him up at the end of the day, I ask: "Archer, how was school today?" Archer: "No, PRE-school!!!"
  • One evening, while looking up at the sky, Archer said: "Look at the moon! Oh! It's a crescent moon!" And then he paused and corrected himself: "Um, actually, it's a quarter moon." I honestly thought he was wrong and thought it was a "half moon". So, I looked it up and in fact he was right, it was a quarter moon. There is no such thing as a half moon. Archer's knowledge/obsession with astronomy continues to expand.
  • While watching Stephen Hawking's Into the Universe on Netflix (he requested that we watch this), the program was trying to explain/grapple with what came before the Big Bang. As the show moved back through time, it showed a picture/interpretation of what it may have looked like before the Big Bang. Archer suddenly exclaimed, "That's god!". Bill and I were totally surprised and taken aback by this statement.
  • As Archer leaves the room, he says: "Mama, have a good one!"
